Roughriders get playoff victory

ELIDA — The shots were at a premium, and so was the Riders defense.

St. Marys got a goal midway through the first half, and made it stand up for a 1-0 win over Kenton in a Division II district semifinal boys soccer contest on Monday.

The Roughriders are now 16-3-1 on the year. They advance to Thursday’s district final, where they will have another shot at Shawnee.
