COLUMBUS — The Minster Wildcats and New Knoxville girls basketball teams notched a spot on the inaugural 2020-21 Associated Press girls basketball poll for Ohio on Tuesday.

Minster (8-1) was picked third among all Division IV girls basketball programs with 85 points and two first-place votes and was 12 points shy of neighboring rival Fort Loramie (10-0), who is second in the poll with 97 points and seven first-place votes. 

The Rangers (7-0) are seventh in Division IV with 39 votes, ahead of Peebles and Lancaster Fisher Catholic (38) and Toledo Christian (36) to round out the top 10 schools.
