20 Under 20: Bree Knapke

Bree Knapke has been named a 20 Under 20 Award recipient for 2021.

Editor’s Note: The Auglaize Mercer Business Education Alliance (AMBE), partnering for Progress in Darke County School along with administrators and businesses from three different western Ohio counties are honoring their young people with the annual 20 Under 20 Awards. This is a joint effort by Darke, Mercer, and Auglaize counties that make the awards possible.

All honorees were nominated by an instructor at their school, as well as by a supervisor at their place of employment. The Evening Leader will be honoring two students per week: one on Friday and Saturday’s print edition.

From staff reports

Bree Knapke, a recent graduate of Coldwater High School, was nominated for her work at at Fort Recovery Industries by Brittni Newman.

Newman, the human resource assistant at Fort Recovery Industries, nominated Knapke because of the experience she is getting in the accounting office, which is what she is majoring in at Ohio State University.

Newman felt that Knapke was deserving of the award.
