Live performance

Last month, residents at Elmwood Assisted Living Center in New Bremen were treated to a performance by Frank Svet, a highly-accomplished accordion player, who was inducted into the NationL Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame in 2019. Svet performed many German songs and took requests. Irene Doenges played the piano and the two performed together for over an hour, playing songs like “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” “Beer Barrel Polka” and many more.
