'Riders Middle School Girls Win WBL Title, Wibbeler Named Top Female Athlete

The St. Marys Roughriders middle school girls track and field team claimed the Western Buckeye League title, several athletes broke school records an Emma Wibbeler was the top player at the meet on Friday.


Wibbeler — who was named the top female in the meet — scored first in three events, including the 400-meter dash (1:04.78), the pole vault (7-06) and she was a part of the 4x100-meter relay with Rebecca Dominguez Allison Jacobs and Ally Will that broke the WBL meet and school record that was set 30 years ago under a time of 53.35.


The 4x400-meter relay team of Will, Priddy, Madison Anthony and Jacobs broke the WBL meet and school record since 1995 with a time of 53.35.


The boys squad took third place in the meet.
