Officers Respond to Bomb Threat at AAP

According to a news release from Chief Mark Ernst with the St. Marys Police Department, officers responded to AAP St. Marys Corp. regarding a bomb threat at 6:25 p.m. Saturday.
Earlier in the day, employees had found a bomb threat written on the back of a bathroom door in the factory, which is located at 1100 McKinley Road.
The writing had been cleaned off before officers arrived. AAP supervisors advised they had followed internal police regarding these incidents and after they conducted a search of the facility, no suspicious items were found.
The investigation continues.
