Mariners Come Back, Beat Locos

Brad Boss started the rally in the eighth inning with a two-run home run as the Mariners were down 4-1. Grand Lake came back to win 5-4 in 10 innings.

This is the perfect time for Grand Lake to make a run and evaluate themselves in the standings.

The Mariners have dates with Lima and first-place Hamilton with games between last-place Northern Ohio in between.

And Friday was the perfect opportunity to make that run and the Grand Lake didn’t waste anytime as they took care of business in extras at Montgomery Field beating the Locos 5-4 in dramatic fashion in Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League action.
