Lynn E. Wibbeler, 56, of 03251 Clover Four Road, New Bremen, died at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, following an extended illness.
She was born on April 25, 1957, in St. Marys, the daughter of Melvin and Velma (Bohannon) Hamp.
She married Gregg Wibbeler on Jan. 4, 1985, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by two daughters, Kara (John) Timm of Rockvale, Tenn; Liza (Andrew) Richardson of St. Marys; by two grandchildren, Chase Timm and Kaya Richardson and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lynn was a 1975 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She earned a B.S. in social work from Wright State University and a M.S. in social work from the Ohio State University. She was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in St. Marys. She loved nature, reading, painting, making custom jewelry and singing. Her two grandchildren were the joys of her life.
Funeral rites will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. Jon Kraner, officiant.
Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to New Bremen EMS.
