Juanita W. Doseck, 86, of 05070 County Road 33A, St. Marys, died at 9:25 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born on March, 2, 1927, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Charles and Adilene (Anderson) Osborne.
She married Charles H. Doseck on Sept. 17, 1944, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2011.
She is survived by her children, John (Holly) Doseck of Bryan, Russ (Mary Jane) Doseck of Lima, Shirley (Jim) Fenstermaker of Vancouver, Wash., Gene (Linda) Doseck of Goshen, Ind.; Virginia (Jerrold) Hobler of St. Marys; by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; by two sisters, Melva Stisser of Anderson, Ind.; Billie Lou Englehart of Bryan; two brothers, Jack Osborne of Portland, Ind.; Donald Osborne of Sidney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Richard Doseck, who was killed in the Vietnam War; by brothers Charles “Sonny” Osborne and Dale Osborne; by her sisters, Virginia Reddicliffe, Marie Osborne and Vivian Fallers; by three infant brothers, Roy, Jay and Bobby Osborne.
Juanita was a homemaker and had been employed at the G.C. Murphy Company and the St. Marys Hobby Center for many years.
She was a member of the former St. Marys Church of Christ.
She was an avid card player, loved birds and enjoyed painting ceramics.
Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. James Jamison, officiant.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Gideons International.
Friends may also call one hour prior to services on Thursday.
