Joan A. Eilerman, 78, of Fort Loramie, died at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
She was born on May 8, 1934, in Maria Stein to the late Edward J. and Olivia (Brunswick) Bergman.
She married Donald P. Eilerman on Oct. 6, 1954, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1994.
She is survived by children Donna and Paul Hoying, McCartyville, Carol and Jerry Hoying, Fort Loramie, Robert and Janet Eilerman, New Bremen, Elizabeth “Betsy” and Michael Schieltz, Fort Loramie, Teresa and Greg Winner, Minster, Paul and Margo Eilerman, Wilder, Ky., Kathleen and Wally Meyer, Newport, Steve Eilerman and fiancée Mary Zamudio, Fort Loramie, Barbara and Keith Brown, Troy, Joyce and Paul Bremigan, Russia; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister; a sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, the Rev. Steven Shoup, officiant.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery.
