Lahoma J. (Binion) Reineke, 69, of St. Marys, died at 9:02 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1943, in Fairfield, Calif., to Thomas and Maude (Hopper) Binion, both of whom preceded her in death. On Aug. 4, 1990, she married Robert L. Reineke, and he survives in St. Marys.
Other survivors are two sons, James Kenneth Thompson Jr., of Old Town, Fla. and Keith Dwight (Carol) Thompson of Old Town, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Susan (Nick) Dingledine of St. Marys; two brothers, Truman (Jackie) Binion, Paradise, Calif. and Tillman (Gerri) Binion of Eagan, Minn.; two sisters, Vereta Bailey of Earlsboro, Okla. and Carmelita Bothelio of Manteca, Okla.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Calvin, Don, Bill, T.J. and Jake David Binion; and a sister, Ruby Estell Anderson.
Lahoma came from a large and loving family. She will be remembered with love from each of us.
She retired from Kmart in 2006. She was a member of Scrub Creek Baptist Church in Cross City, Fla., Celina American Legion Post 210 and Belle Glade American Legion Post 20.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, located at 1175 E. Greenville Road.
Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Robert Ellis, officiating.
Burial will be held at a later date.
