Eleanora E. Kill, 90, of Spencerville, died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the Hospice of Hamilton Care Center following a short illness.
She was born on April 28, 1922, in Delphos, to Leo and Eleanora Langmeyer Sendelbach, and they preceded her in death. Since her mother died at her birth, she was raised and adopted by I. V. and Laura Gemke, and they preceded her in death.
On June 19, 1948, she married Arnold R. Kill, and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2010.
She is survived by five children, James F. “Jim” (Donna) Kill of Griffin, Ga., Donald R. “Don” (Jill) Kill of Cromwell, Ind., Laura M. (Gary) Nichols of Hamilton, Dennis P. (Maria) Kill of Satellite Beach, Fla., and Robert A. “Bob” (Kristin) Kill of Dexter, Mich.; her special fifth son, Rob (Paula) Richardson of Spencerville; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by six siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Delphos St. John Church, with the Rev. Melvin Verhoff officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Landeck.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, where prayer services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hamilton in care of the funeral home.
