Ned E. Keiber, 82, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 16, 1929, in Wapakoneta, to Earl W. and Hazel (Wellington) Keiber, and they preceded him in death.
On Feb. 9, 1957, he married Margaret June Peak, and she survives.
He is also survived by two daughters, Leslie K. (Keiber) Steining and Linda S. (Keiber) (Kevin) Schnell, both of Wapakoneta; five grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. R.J. Davis officiating.
Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta, where military rites will be conducted by the Wapakoneta Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
