Mary Dorothy “Pat” Buckloh Sink, 82, of Findlay, died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on March 17, 1929, in New Bremen, to the late Frank and Marie (Dicke) Buckloh.
She graduated from New Bremen High School and earned an associate’s degree from Bowling Green State University.
Pat married Donald V. Sink on July 15, 1950, and he survives. She is also survived by five children, Deborah (Greg) Nurre of Hudson, Diane (Ken) Rogoff of Austin, Texas, Donalee (Paul) Frary of Allentown, Pa., Douglas (Christine) Sink of Chicago, Ill., Dottie (John) Mann of Denver, Colo.; by nine grandchildren, Nicholas (Victoria) Titchenal, Benjamin Titchenal, Margaret Nurre, Peter Nurre, Laurie Rogoff, Jacquelyn Sink, Joshua Sink, David Mann, Michael Mann and by one great-grandchild, Cole Titchenal. Pat was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Deerhake.
At home Pat was known as wife, mom and “boss,” and she had been employed at the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and at Marathon Oil Company. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Sarah Circle and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Blanchard Valley Hospital Twigs, YMCA Board of Directors, CCL, Hancock County Library Board, Arts & Letters and the Orphan Annie Investment Club.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 120 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, with the Rev. Larry Kreps officiating. Private burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family via www.kirkpatrickbehnke.com .
