The St. Marys Athletic Department has 205 tickets available for Saturday’s boys basketball game at New Knoxville.
On Tuesday, parents of varisty and junior varisty boys basketball players and parent of varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders may pick up a maximum of two tickets at 5:30 p.m. in the high school main office.
On Wednesday season ticket holders may pick up a maximum two tickets starting at 5:30 p.m. in the high school office.
Starting at 6:30pm, a maximum of two tickets may be purchased by the St. Marys City School district general public until 7:30 p.m.
Tickets will be sold until they are sold out.
St. Marys Fundraiser Dinner set for Thursday night
Featured speakers Al and Roger Harden are the highlights of a fund-raising dinner to benefit the St. Marys boys basketball program. The dinner will be held at the St. Marys Eagles Lodge on Thursday, Dec. 1. A social hour will start at six o’clock pm, with dinner to follow at 7 p.m.
Al Harden played basketball for Indiana University before a college coaching career and latter a career with Converse. As a Vice-President with Converse, he signed Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and hundreds of others sports stars to represent the Converse Brand. Roger Harden, Al’s son, was Indiana’s 1982 Mr. Basketball. Dan Hegemier will also speak about the upcoming Roughrider season.
Tickets for the dinner are $75, or $130 per couple. The menu includes a prime rib dinner, twice baked potato, vegetable, salad and dessert along with beverages. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
