Timothy L. Siemer, 45, of 410 S. Ash St., St. Marys, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at James Cancer Center in Columbus.
He was born on July 29, 1965, in Lima, to Ned and Darlene (Burnett) Siemer, and his father preceded him in death. His mother survives him.
On March 18, 1993, in St. Marys, he married Jammie S. Weiler, and she survives him.
He is also survived by two daughters, Nikki (Bryan) Neargarder of St. Marys and Shana Foust of St. Marys; two sons, D.J. (Lindsey) Lindeman of St. Marys and Timothy “T.J.” Siemer of Lima; five grandchildren, Chloe and Cadyn Neargarder, Makenzie Lindeman, Hannah and Gaven Foust; a sister, Melissa Koeper of St. Marys; niece and nephew, Nathan and Keely Koeper; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Burnett of Venedocia; his mother-in-law, Betty Weiler of St. Marys; his close and supportive friends, the Bill and Pat Goubeau family, the Gary and Connie Rohrbach Family and Floyd Thomas Craft, all of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard Weiler.
He was a 1984 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and Tri-Star Adult Education program for welding.
Until the progression of his illness forced him to do otherwise, he was employed as a welder for Crown Equipment in New Bremen. He then worked at Pantry Pride Market and J.T.’s restaurant, both in St. Marys.
At the time of his death, he was restoring a 1959 Ford pick-up truck. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Siemer will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller – Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating.
Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and one hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home on High Street.
