Rider Rooter Golf Outing on June 25
The Rider Rooters will hold their 25th annual golf outing. The outing will feature a new format, with a four-person scramble taking place on Saturday June 25 at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Northmoor Country Club. The morning flight will be served a catered dinner by Dave Wright after the tournament and the afternoon flight will be served at 11:30 p.m. prior to the tournament. Members of Northmoor pay $35, which includes a cart. Non-members pay $50, and it includes a cart. Call Denny Vogel for reservations at 419-394-3361.
Fall Baseball League Sign-Ups
K.C. Geiger Park will be the site for a fall baseball league for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Games will be played on Sundays beginning Aug. 21 and concluding Sept. 25. Cost is $85 per player which covers umpiring, shirts and balls. They will be regulation games with live pitching and certified umpires. Anyone interested can call Denny Lauth at 419-394-7121. St. Marys Tennis Camp June 27-July 1
The St. Marys tennis camp will be held from June 27-July 1 for students entering grades 3-9. The camp will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day. Cost is $25 and five dollars less per entrant for each additional player in a household. For more info call, 419-394-3735.
St. Marys Soccer Camp July 12-14
The Memorial High School girls soccer coaches are conducting a youth soccer camp for any girl in the St. Marys school district that attends elementary or junior high school.
The camp is from July 12-14 at the West School soccer complex from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Cost is $35, which includes a camp t-shirt and six hours of instruction. Checks can be made out to youth soccer camp c/o Paul Dingledine, 2201 Eaglebrooke Circle, Celina, OH 45822, with shirt size along with name, address, phone number and age. Softball Tourneys, June 25
A pair of softball tournaments will be held at K.C. Geiger Park on June 25. A co-ed softball tournament, with teams to be made up of six men and four women will be played on Diamond 5 on June 25. The tournament is limited to the first eight teams. Entry fee is $100. Teams hit their own ball. Trophies will be given out for the top two teams. Wapak softball tourney
The Wapakoneta Recreation Inc. will hold their 2nd Annual Girls Softball Tournament on July 22-24 at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Wapakoneta.
