St. Marys 3, Celina 2
Tyler Roby hit a two-run go-ahead home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to give St. Marys a 3-2 win over Celina.
St. Marys southpaw starter Austin James worked 5 1-3 innings. D.J. Manning got the win relief, with 2-3 of an inning of scoreless work. Nick Vogel got the save in the top of the seventh with a 1-2-3 inning.
Nate Mestemaker took the tough luck loss for Celina, working the game's first 5 2-3 innings before giving up the long ball to Roby.
St. Marys hosts Wapakoneta on Friday night at 6:30 p.m.

Coldwater 14, New Bremen 4
COLDWATER — A nine-run second inning by Coldwater broke things open, as the Cavaliers topped the New Bremen ACME baseball team 14-4 in five innings on Wednesday night at Veteran’s Field in Coldwater.
Cody Wendel went 1-for-2 with a pair of runs batted in to lead New Bremen at the plate.
Coldwater improved to 9-2 on the season. New Bremen fell to 8-2.
Lima 16, St. Marys 6
LIMA — The wheels fell off in the middle innings for the St. Marys Legion Post 323 baseball team on Wednesday in a 16-6 seven-inning loss to Lima Post 96.
After getting out to a 2-0 lead after an inning and a half and a 5-1 lead through four and a half innings, St. Marys gave up six runs in the bottom of the fourth and four runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings.
Addison Wolf, a New Knoxville grad, started the game for St. Marys and took the loss. He worked 4 1-3 innings.
The Grand Lake Mariners' game on Wednesday night was rained out. It was postponed until Friday night at 7:15 p.m.
