Wine Sentenced To Prison Term

WAPAKONETA — Douglas J. Wine was sentenced to 15 months in prison by Auglaize County Common Pleas Judge Frederick Pepple on one count of gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony, during his sentencing hearing today. Wine also was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine. He faced a maximum of 18 months in prison. During the hearing, attorneys for Wine noted they planned to file an appeal in the case.
