Time Warner office closes Print E-mail

ST. MARYS — An official for a cable and Internet provider says cost savings and efficiency are the reasons behind a decision to close an office in St. Marys.
The Time Warner office on Celina Road closed its doors Aug. 28. Government Affairs Manager Pat McCauley said the decision to close the office came after reviewing its performance.
“We closed it to improve efficiency and to help keep our costs in check,” McCauley told The Evening Leader. “We just watched it over a period of time and decided to close it.”
McCauley said the drop box at the location would remain open for a few more weeks. After that, customers will have to go to the Celina or Wapakoneta offices to drop off payments.
“They can go to our other locations of they can go to any Time Warner location,” McCauley said. “They can pay by check, credit card and use online payment options.”
McCauley said the company has no plans to close the Wapakoneta and Celina offices at the present time.
The officials also said those who worked in the St. Marys office did not lose their jobs.
“They have gone to work in other locations for us,” McCauley said.
McCauley said residents with questions or concerns can call 800-617-4311 and talk to customer service representatives.
