Lucille A. Fisher, 90, of St. Marys, died at 10:17 a.m. July 2, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 28, 1917, in Mercer County, a daughter of Louis and Clara Wilker and they preceded her in death. On Oct. 21, 1939, she married William F. Fisher and he preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by a son, William (Elaine) Fisher of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Mary (Guy) Samples of Wapakoneta, and Ruth (Eugene) Tuttle of St. Marys; four grandchildren, Robert, Dallas, Erin and Cindy; two great-grandchildren, Steven and Brooke; three stepgrandchildren, Doug, Liz and Aaron; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Dan, Dave, Ben and Abby; a stepgreat-great-granddaughter, Mia; and two sisters-in-law. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Elmer Wilker and a granddaughter, Ruth Samples. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, working in the yard, walking, shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the Holy Rosary Church, St. Marys, with the Rev. Tony Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, at Cisco Funeral Home, 1175 E. Greenville Road, St. Marys. The VFW Post 9289 Ladies Auxiliary will hold services at 7 p.m. and there will be recitation of the Rosary at 7:15 p.m., at Cisco Funeral Home.
