Stella Rosina Mangen, 91, of Coldwater, died at 12:40 p.m., Friday, July 4, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 22, 1917, in New Weston, a daughter of Frank and Mary (Evers) Siefring and they preceded her in death. On Sept 3, 1938 she married Paul Mangen and he preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1985. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Jean) Mangen of Tipp City, Richard Mangen of Eaton, John (Pat) Mangen of Celina; five daughters, Charlene (Jerry) Schell of Columbus, Lois Swoverland of Fort Wayne, Ind., Linda (Wayne) Moore of Wapakoneta, Dr. Mary Mangen of Toledo, Joyce (James) Meyer of Celina; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Charles; a great-grandson; a brother; and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. |
