MINSTER — The Minster Wildcat track and field program dominated the area’s Division III district track meet once again — the girls team by running away from the competition and the boys team by escaping by a sliver. The Wildcat girls compiled 128 points, outdistancing second place Marion Local, who collected 72 points.
The Minster boys won the meet by 2.5 points over New Bremen a week after coming up second to the Cardinals at the Midwestern Athletic Conference meet. The Wildcats had 99.5 points to New Bremen’s 97 points.

While Minster eclipsed the competition on the scoreboard, New Bremen’s Scott Schnelle was soaring above the high jump bar.
