Area bowlers who rolled 300 games and women who scored over 270 this year in league bowling action at Varsity Lanes were honored on Wednesday night. During the league at the St. Marys bowling alley, nine 300 games were bowled.
Jeff Rain bowled three 300 games and Carl Keysor bowled two perfect games.
Al Anselman had a 300 game along with a 298 during the season.
Area businesses agree to put up a certain dollar amount for each perfect game bowled. The men’s pot reached around $4,100 this season. That comes out to about $680 per 300 game.
Lisa Davenport and Kelley Keysor were honored for their 278 games during the league season, as well.
The pot for the women’s winners was about $1,500.
The winners of the first Adult-Junior tournament were honored.
Spencer and Brian Alig won the 8 and Under division.
Caleb and Brian Alig came in second place.
Paige and Carl Keysor won the 9 to 11 age group.
