ST. MARYS — Hiker, bikers and walkers in the region will notice a difference in a few sections of the Miami and Erie Canal towpath trail starting this week.

Robert M. Kantner, 59, of 818 Kimberly Dr. in St. Marys, died at 11:35 a.m., Sunday, April 22, 2007, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Ohio 197, east of Moulton-Fort Amanda Road in rural Auglaize County. Arrangements are being completed with the Miller - Long Funeral Home, High Street Chapel, in St. Marys.
