Robert L. Dicke, 73, of Lakeview, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at home. He was born July 25, 1936, in St. Marys, a son of Lafe and Hazel (Hussey) Dicke, and they preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Martin of Bellefontaine, Brenda (Aaron) Wieler of Sidney; a son, Robert Dicke Jr., of California; a stepdaughter, Alana Adkins of Russells Point; stepsons, Jerry (Shirley) Milbourn of Sidney, Wren (Marcia) Mayo of Lewistown, Luke (Char) Mayo of  N.C., Vess Lewis of West Milton, Shannon (Ruth) Lewis of Texas; 27 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Wilda (James) Allison of New Lexington; two brothers, Richard (Anna) Dicke of Arkansas, Larry (Betty) Dicke of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth and Jean; two brothers, Carl and Wilford.
He was retired from the former Miami Industries in Piqua. He was a member of the Indian Lake Moose 1533. He enjoyed woodworking and painting.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Logan County Cancer Society.
