Connie L. Prenger, 54, 8 Sycamore Court, Minster, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, of natural causes. She was born Dec. 13, 1954, in St. Marys, a daughter to Roger and Theresa (Bensman) Bornhorst, and they preceded her in death.
On Aug. 6, 1977, she married James F. Prenger, he survives.
She is survived by her children, Ryan Prenger and his fiancee Nyssa Hoch of Oakland, Calif., Jack Prenger of Dublin; her siblings, Phyllis and Jerry Baumer of Minster, Lynn (Greg) Meyer of Celina, Jill (John) Frierott of Bartlette, Tenn., Tony (Gretchen) Bornhorst of Pinhurst, N.C; her mother-in-law, Irene Prenger of Egypt.
She was a member of St. Augustine Church in Minster. She was an entertainer with her husband for 35 years and was a promotions director for Country Country in Newport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Augustine Church in Minster with the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating.
Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to the time of services at the church.
A reception will follow at the K of C Hall in Minster.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Esophageal Cancer Research Fund, The James Development Office, 660 Ackerman Road, P.O. Box 183112, Columbus, OH 43218-3112.
