Gloria Dunlap Sweeney, 59, 1033 Hendricks Ave., St. Marys, died at 7:53 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Triumph Hospital in Lima.
She was born July 3, 1950, in St. Marys, a daughter of James and Betty (Adams) Dunlap.
On July 5, 1986, she married Christopher Sweeney, he survives at the residence.
She is survived by her siblings, Robert Dunlap of St. Marys, Everett (Caroline) Dunlap of St. Marys, Rose Dunlap of St. Marys; two stepdaughters, Joy Sweeney of Celina and Nicki Sweeney of Celina; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Dunlap.
She was a 1969 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She had been employed at the St. Marys McDonald’s restaurant. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with her family.
Funeral rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys. Private family burial rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Miller Funeral Home.
