The Cotton Mill building sits on High Street before its scheduled demolition later this week. The building, which was built in the early 1900s, has sat vacant for years. It was damaged in a flood in 1959 and wasn’t cared for well after the flood. Because of the extensive damage, it was recommended in September to the St. Marys City Council to be demolished.
