Victoria M. Rohrbach, 85

Victoria M. Rohrbach, 85, of St. Marys, died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born on May 17, 1927, in Rhine, to Edward and Hulda (Steinke) Greve, and they preceded her in death.

On June 21, 1947, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, she married Virgil Rohrbach, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1999.

She is survived by six children, Deborah Weaks of St. Marys, Steve (Debra) Rohrbach of St. Marys, Patrick (Lisa) Rohrbach of Wapakoneta, Cynthia (Richard) Gray of Celina, Neil (fiancee Kristine Selby) of St. Marys and Andrea (Michael) Eberle of St. Marys; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louetta Ruppert of Wapakoneta and Iva Lou Bergman of New Bremen; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Tinnerman of St. Marys and Ann Greve of Wapakoneta.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Ryan Raver; a granddaughter, Shiloh Cheyenne Rohrbach; a son-in-law, Robert Weaks; an infant brother, Eugene Greve; a brother, Nelson Greve.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Altar-Rosary Sodality.

Her favorite pastimes included playing cards, collecting antiques and maintaining a spotless home.

Victoria will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished both her faith and her family.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, with the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Rosary Catholic School or to Grand Lake Hospice.
