Victor “Vic” Woodall, 72

Victor “Vic” Woodall, 72, of St. Marys, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Joint Township Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born on Aug. 14, 1939, in Troy, to Robert E. and Jennie (Sharits) Woodall, and they preceded him in death.

His wife of 47 years, Vicke (Davis) Woodall, survives him.

He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Dixie Winemiller of Tipp City; a sister-in-law, Anna Davis of Piqua; a nephew, Mike (Crystal) Davis of Piqua; two nieces, Susan (Jay) Evans of Huber Heights and Sally (Brent) Latimer of Piqua; several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny, in 1970; a brother-in-law, Barry Davis.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and attended First United Church of Christ in Troy. He was one of the first to organize and chair the LRC and LIA for cleaning up Grand Lake St. Marys. He was a member of Moose, Elks, Eagles and Troy Fish and Game. Vic was an all around sports guy and enjoyed playing cards.

He had many friends, was a loving husband and will be missed by all.

Vic was a systems manager for Hobart/PMI, traveling in the U.S. and Canada. He was also a licensed realtor with Galbreath in Troy.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
