Track: Riders' 3200 meter relay teams, Kinkley finish fourth on first day at WBL meet

WAPAKONETA — The Western Buckeye League championship meet ran preliminaries along with field event finals and the 3200 meter relay final on Wednesday at Wapakoneta’s Harmon Field.

St. Marys turned in four top-five finishes at the league meet’s first day.

St. Marys girls top finishers

St. Marys’ Erin Kinkley finished fourth in the high jump (5-0) and Ashleigh Falk was fifth (4-8).

The Riders 3200 meter relay team of Sara Lininger, Lexi Grothause, Kristen Dammeyer and Marissa Schrolucke finished fourth with a 10:20.84 time.

St. Marys boys top finishers
The St. Marys 3200 meter relay team of Alex Mielke, Detrique Mines, Anthony Tenney and Brennan Brown finished fourth with an 8:32.54 time.
