Toni L. Fischbach, 65

Toni L. Fischbach, 65, of 14933 Bay Road, Wapakoneta, died accidentally on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Greenville Falls, near Covington.

She was born on March 5, 1948, in Dayton, the daughter of Arthur “Curly” Swank and Virginia (Johnston) Swank.

She married Larry Fischbach on April 3, 1976, in St. Marys, and he survives at the residence.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Dennis) Hayden of Fostoria; Angela (Mark) Stilley of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and by her mother-in-law, Dorothy Fischbach of Piqua.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Swank and Virginia Swank Oiler.

Toni was a 1970 graduate of Milton-Union High School in West Milton. She worked at the Celina Group Insurance Company, where for many years she instructed classes on insurance software. She later worked at Burke Insurance Company in St. Marys; Kogge Plumbing and Heating and Grand Carriage II.

Toni was a very devoted animal lover and is survived by her cat, Tigger. She loved all kinds of pets and was always helping a stray cat in the neighborhood. She was a very accomplished counted cross stitcher. She enjoyed touring the country on the back of Larry’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. David Williams officiant.

Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah, 84741.
