Thomas L. Poppe, 44, of 15030 State Route 116 in St. Marys, died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at a residence in St. Marys.

He was born on June 17, 1968, in St. Marys, to Gary and Sherry (Storer) Poppe.

Survivors include two sons, Tyler Poppe  of St. Marys and Trevor Poppe  of St. Marys; two daughters, Aubrey Poppe  of St. Marys and Makayla Poppe  of St. Marys; his parents, Gary and Sherry Poppe of St. Marys; sister, Penny Poppe  of St. Marys; three brothers, Tim Poppe of St. Marys, Toby (Sherri) Poppe  of St. Marys and Ted (Cindy) Poppe  of St. Marys; maternal stepgrandfather James Huston  of St. Marys; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He enjoyed fishing and camping.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.

Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from  6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
