St. Henry School Employee Charged With Voyeurism

CELINA — A St. Henry school employee has been accused of video taping underage girls.

In a news release issued to The Evening Leader, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said voyeurism charges have been filed against Nate L. Bomholt, 36, of Dull Road, St. Henry.  The incident was referred to the sheriff’s office by the Mercer County Department of Jobs and Family Services on Oct. 6.

A search warrant was issued for the 128 Dull Road, St. Henry, and specifically a cell phone used by Bomholt. The warrant was issued on Oct. 7.

Bomholt was charged Thursday in Celina Municipal Court with voyeurism, a first-degree misdemeanor. He is expected to return to court at 9:30 a.m. Friday to answer to the charge.

Bomholt is accused of covertly videotaping underage females. The parties involved have been notified. Bomholt is an employee of the St. Henry Schools, but Grey said officials have no reason to believe the offense is school related. According to the St. Henry Local Schools' website, Bomholt serves as assistant maintenance supervisor. No other details are being released at this time.
