Softball tournament game moved to Tuesday; St. Marys, Minster and New Bremen baseball play Wednesday

NEW BREMEN — Late afternoon storms postponed the Division IV sectional softball final  between New Bremen and St. Henry scheduled for Monday.

The Cardinals and Redskins will play tonight at 5 p.m. at New Bremen. The winner advances to the district tournament at Wapakoneta on Tuesday, May 15 against the winner of Ada and Hardin Northern.

St. Henry won the regular season match-up 10-0 on April 19.

Minster will play in district action at Wapak on Wednesday, May 16 at 5 p.m. against the wnner of today’s Lima Perry-Ridgemont game.

Tournament Baseball

Auglaize County baseball teams get into sectional action on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

St. Marys begins its tournament run on Wednesday when they play Shawnee at 5 p.m. at Elida.

Top-seeded Wapakoneta plays Elida tonight at Ed Sandy Field at 5 p.m. in the other Division II sectional final.

Minster, the top seed in the Division IV sectional at Minster, will play Fort Recovery at 5 p.m. on Wednesday night. New Bremen, the second seed, faces St. Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
