Shell Station Robbed

ST. MARYS — Officers continue to investigate the robbery of a local gas station Tuesday night.

At 5:52 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Shell Gas station located at 1115 Celina Road in St. Marys. The suspect approached the clerk and stated he had a weapon. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect exited the store and left in a newer model, 4-door, truck that was maroon in color.

The suspect was wearing a blue and gold hooded sweatshirt and grey shorts.  He was described as 5'10” to 6 feet tall with facial hair and a medium build. There was a second male suspect inside the truck, and there is no description of that subject at this time.

No one was injured during the incident. The St. Marys Police Department continues to investigate all tips related to this incident. Anyone with information should contact the St. Marys Police Department at 419-394-2325.
