Sharon S. Dues, 59

Sharon S. Dues, 59, of Portland, Ind., died on Tuesday Nov. 27, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1953, in Coldwater to parents Frederick J. Rammel and Delma L. Speck, who survives in Celina.

On July 29, 1972, she married Joseph H. Dues in Sharpsburg, and he survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Shelly (Jeff) Vaughn of Fort Recovery, Pam (Pete) Reinhart of New Bremen; three sons, Joe M. (Gail) Dues of Portland, Ind., Tim (Casey) Dues of New Knoxville, Ben (Jamie) Dues of Portland, Ind.; six brothers, Larry (Ginny) Rammel  of Greenville, Dave (Beck) Rammel of Fort Recovery, Tom (Sandy) Rammel of Coldwater, Rick (Phyllis) Rammel of Coldwater, Steve (Tonja) Rammel of Coldwater, Randy (Angie) Rammel of Fort Recovery; three sisters, Janice (Herb) Grieshop of Celina, Marge (Fred) Dues of Coldwater, Jane (Paul) Kaverman of Geneva, Ind.; thirteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick J. Rammel.

Dues was a long-time employee of Jay School Corporation, and a 1971 graduate of Fort Recovery High School in Fort Recovery.

She was a CYO Coordinator of the church, served on the church council and was a member of the Altar Sodality - all of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.

The funeral will be held at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery at 10:30 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating.

Burial will be held at St. Marys Cemetery in Fort Recovery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.

Memorials may be made to the Sharon Dues Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of the Portland Foundation.
