Sharon M. Wells-Dicke, 65

Sharon M. Wells-Dicke, 65, of 5336 Lake Drive, Celina, died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at her residence.

She was born on Jan. 9, 1946, in St. Marys, to Virgil and M. Jean (Chilcoat) Keysor. Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives her in St. Marys.

She married Darwin “Doc” Wells, and he preceded her in death in 1981. On Sept. 9, 1997, in Gatlinburg, Tenn., she married William F. Dicke, and he survives her.

She also survived by two stepdaughters, Andrea (William) Pedrick  of Watertown, N.Y., Emily Dicke  of Columbus; two stepsons Christopher (Betty) Dicke of Ottawa, Jeffrey Dicke  of Red Wing, Minn.; six stepgrandchildren; two sisters Judy (Randy) Myers of St. Marys, Linda (Lacy) Cramer of St. Marys; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by a brother Rick Keysor; a sister, Deb Hensley on Saturday.

She was a 1964 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She was employed in production for 40 years at Trim Trends in Spencerville. She was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6772 auxiliary in Spencerville. Her favorite pastimes included boating, traveling, especially to Mexico, and birdwatching. She also enjoyed the company of her canine companion, “Tippy.”

A joint funeral service for Sharon Wells-Dicke and her sister, Deb Hensley, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys, with the Rev. Robert Mabry officiating. Burial will follow at Spencerville Cemetery, in Spencerville.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Mercer County Cancer Association. Condolences may be expressed online via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
