Sharon M. Kline, 67

Sharon M. Kline, 67, of Wapakoneta, went to be with her Savior at 1:55 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Wapakoneta Manor after several years of extended illnesses.  

She was born on Dec. 7, 1945, in Lima, the daughter of Lawrence Winegardner and Helen (Myers) Klopfenstein.  

Her mother survives in Wapakoneta, and her father preceded her in death.  

On Dec. 10, 1982, she married Robert C. Kline, and he survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Scott Redman of Wapakoneta, Jeff Redman of Lima and Robert Redman of Wapakoneta; four stepchildren, Doug Kline of Ottawa, Susan Mullins of Wapakoneta, Shane Kline of Wapakoneta and Mindy Hastings of Marion; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Rhonda) Winegardner of Elida; several nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, Sharon had worked at Miller’s Textile Services in Wapakoneta.  

She was an active member of the New Life International Church in Lima, where she volunteered for the soup kitchen and was one of the leaders on the shepherding team.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Ohio 501, Wapakoneta, the Revs. John Bowers & Marc Curry, officiants.  

Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.  The family will receive family and friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.  

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Rita’s Hospice.
