Saturday Girls Basketball Round-Up: New Knoxville beats Jackson Center, Riders fall to Coldwater
NEW KNOXVILLE 57, JACKSON CENTER 42
JACKSON CENTER — New Knoxville’s balanced scoring proved to be more potent than the one-woman show that was Jackson Center’s Brooke Richard.
A trio of Rangers scored in double figures in New Knoxville’s 57-42 win over Jackson Center on Saturday afternoon.
Paige Lehman led the way with 18 points, Meg Reineke added 13 points and Haley Horstman had 12 points in the win.
The Rangers overcame a 29-point night from Jackson Center’s Brooke Richard, who hit 10 baskets and six free throws for the Tigers. The 29-point comes just a week and a half after scoring 31 against another Midwest Athletic Conference foe, New Bremen.

COLDWATER 59, ST. MARYS 30

Molly Albert led St. Marys with 11 points.
In the JV game Coldwater beat St. Marys 53-11.
Coldwater (9-4) entertains Minster next Thursday, while the Riders (2-11) travel to New Knoxville on Tuesday.
