Ryan Dean Berg, 7 months

Ryan Dean Berg, 7 months, of New Bremen, passed away peacefully at 3:32 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital surrounded by his family.  

He was born on May 11, 2011, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, the son of Jamie Berg and Stephanie Gillingham, and they survive him in New Bremen.

He is also survived by his brother, Jay Michael Gillingham at home; his grandparents, Mary and Thomas Walter of Sidney, James Berg of New Knoxville and Dawn and Tom Fair of Sidney; his great-grandparents, Lawrence and Elizabeth Gorman of San Diego, Calif., Richard and Elaine Gillingham of Michigan, Jean Walter of Wapakoneta, James Brining of New Bremen and Mary Berg of Wapakoneta; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dean Gillingham.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 309 E. North St., Sidney, with the Rev. George Gnade officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services on Tuesday at the church.

In memory of Ryan and in lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati.
