Ruth M. Beck, 79, of 215 Dogwood Drive in Celina, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at The Gardens at Celina.

She was born on July 20, 1934 in Coldwater, to the late Joseph and Helen (Heyne) Wolters.

On Sept. 5, 1964, she married Paul Edward Beck, who preceded her in death in 1988.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Osborne) and Lance Garcia of Santa Fe, N.M.; son, David Paul Sr., and Renee Beck of Taft, Calif.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law; a sister and brother-in-law; stepchildren Sybilla Hertinstien, Tony Palopoli, Philip and Mary Beck, John Beck, Barton and Darlene Beck, Cheryl and Leonard Witcher, Barbara and Rick Padon; numerous stepgrandchildren; numerous stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother; three sisters and a brother-in-law; a stepdaughter, Joan Palopoli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, the Rev. Kenneth G. Alt, officiating.

Ruth will be buried in Greenlawn South West Memorial Park in Bakersfield, Calif. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and before 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Greenlawn South West Memorial Park in Bakersfield, Calif.
