Robert Evans, 85

Robert Evans, 85, died on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the home of his nephew and niece, Robert M. and Karen V. Evans in Celina.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1927, in Wellston, to Robert W. and Catherine (Durkin) Evans, and they preceded him in death.

He married Alice Castles, and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two siblings.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

There will be no public service. Robert donated his body to science through Humanity Gifts at the University of Toledo.
