Rita J. Diller, 79, of Coldwater, died on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born on May 3, 1932, in St. Marys, to Edward and Rose   (Hemmelgarn) Ruther, and they preceded her in death.

On May 29, 1954, in St. Marys, she married Donald J. Diller, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2001.

Rita is survived by three children, Kenneth Diller of Indianapolis, Ind., Christine (James) Grilliot of Bremen and Cathy (Tony) Puthoff of Philothea; three grandchildren; three sisters.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; a brother; seven in-laws

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, with the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater.
