Richard Paul Watercutter, 69, of 112 Garman Ave., Celina, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at home with his family.
He was born on Jan. 1, 1944, in Bradford, to the late Clarence “Casey” and Ellen (Snapp) Watercutter.
On June 6, 1964, he married Marilyn A. Weyandt, who lives in Celina.
Also surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Arron and Tracy Watercutter of Dayton; daughter and son-in-law Kim and Steve Winans of Celina; special nieces Kelly Powell and Jenny Hoyng; grandchildren Rick and Danielle Winans, Rachel and Jonathan Williams and Quinn and Maeve Watercutter; great-grandchildren Nolan, Henry and Helena; several nieces and nephews; brothers Jim and Carol Watercutter of Heath, Ron Watercutter of Sidney, Dave and Joyce Watercutter of Fort Loramie, Steve and Mary Watercutter of Fort Loramie; sisters and brothers-in-law Juanita and Ron Gilberg of New Bremen and Patty Sharp of New Bremen; mother-in-law Virginia Weyandt of Celina; brother-in-law Ron and Joanne Weyandt of Mendon; and his sister-in-law, Lois and Mark Snyder of Celina.
Richard was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Weyandt; sister-in-law Karren Weyandt; and his brother-in-law, Jon Sharp.
He attended Fort Loramie High School and retired from Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen after 40 years of employment in 2001. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. Richard was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, enjoyed a good card game and was a drag racer for years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, the Rev. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and before 10 a.m. Monday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
