Richard A. Frosdick, 84, of Celina, died on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center.

He was born on May 19, 1928, in Oakfield, N.Y., to parents Harold and Edith (Andrews) Frosdick.

On May 24, 1986, he married Patricia (Sullivan) Lentz, who survives.

He is also survived by three children, Susan (Tyagan) Moke-Miller of Bloomington, Ind., Kim (Randy) Ross of Chesterfield, Mich., Amy Frosdick of Columbus; by three stepchildren, James (Sandy) Lentz of Mendon, David Lentz of Celina and Joyce (Marc) Zizelman of Celina; by a stepsister; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a nephew.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, enlisting in 1945 and serving in the European Theatre until 1947.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at W.H, Dick and Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Jonathan Exman, officiant.

Calling hours will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services Feb. 17 at the Funeral Home.

American Legion Post #323 and V.F.W. Post #9289 will conduct Military Rites at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
