Rex E. Wallace, 80

Rex E. Wallace, 80, of Celina, died at 2:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Otterbein St. Marys.

He was born on June 1, 1931, in Toledo, the son of Vern and Sadie Gleason Wallace, and they preceded him in death.

On Aug. 22, 1952, he married Delores “Jean” Brackman, and she survives him in Celina.

He is also survived by three sons, Lester (Tammy) Wallace of Clifton, Va., Charles (Gal) Wallace of Canal Fulton and LaMar (Theresa) Wallace of Centerville; two daughters, Etta Marie (Caleb) Kurtz of West Unity and Elaine (David) Klosterman of Montezuma; 10 grandchldren; six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, with the Rev. Carol Sainey officiating. Burial will be held in Franklin Township Cemetery in Fayette at a later date.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Otterbein St. Marys.
