The Rev. Roger D. Perl, 75

The Rev. Roger D. Perl, 75, of Tiffin, died on Wednesday evening, Dec. 7, 2011, at St. Francis Home.

He was born on July 14, 1936, in Le Mars, Iowa, to John and Elizabeth (Graupe) Perl, and they preceded him in death.

On June 14, 1958, at Zion United Church of Christ in Fireside, he married Alice “Jeanie” Ziegler, and she survives him.

He is survived by two daughters, Amy (Andrew) Kuhn of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Emily Perl of Baltimore, Md.; a brother; a sister; two grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by a brother.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 131 E. Perry St., Tiffin, with the Rev. Louis Dorsch and the Rev. Daniel Busch officiating. Burial will be private in Zion Fireside Cemetery.             

Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
