Raymond L. Trogdlon, 75, of 2100 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 10:47 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born on June 1, 1939, in Wayne County, W.Va., the son of Lafe and Louary (LeMaster) Trogdlon.
He married Altie “A.J.” Renfro, and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Scottie) Marcum of Fort Gay, W.Va.; Kristi (Mark) Cavins of Louisa, Ky.; by three grandchildren, Joshua Trogdlon; Adam Cavins and Kassidi Cavins; by a stepgrandson, Michael Tuttle; his siblings, Willa Skeens of St. Marys; James Frank (Rhoda) Trogdlon of St. Marys; Sam (Connie) Trogdlon of St. Marys; Nancy (Dale) Salisbury of St. Marys and Glen (Jan) Trogdlon of Spencerville.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Karen Maynard, his parents and two children, Dwayne Trogdlon and Ronda Gaynale Trogdlon.
He retired from Omni Source Corporation in St. Marys. He was a member of the NRA and loved hunting and fishing.
Funeral rites will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer, officiant.
Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the American Lung Association. Condolences may be sent to Ray’s family via MillerFuneralHomes.net.
